This event was orchestrated by Status Creative in Grand Rapids, Michigan on May 22, 2011 in response to a comment in Newsweek that Grand Rapids was a dying city. It took massive amounts of coordination to bring together the mayor, fire department, sponsors and hundreds of volunteers to film this in a single 9+ minute take.
